How to find my Mac address or lookup Mac id on Windows 10, 8 & 7

The full form of MAC address is Media Access Control. It is a unique 12 character address that identifies network adapters such as Local Area Connection installed on our PC and other Wi-Fi mobile devices.

To connect to a network you have to provide Mac address to your router. System administrators use MAC address to troubleshoot network issues.

MAC Address consists of two parts:-

The OUI (Organizationally Unique Identifier) part which is used to identify a Vendor and the UAA (Universally Administered Address) part which is also called as the Serial number.
