By following these steps mentioned here as follows you can fix the temporary profile issue with your laptop or computer.

How to Fix “You’ve been signed in with a temporary profile” Error in Windows 10?

1. First we need to find the SID i.e the (Security Identifier) of your user account that is experiencing the temporary profile issue. To do that just press the Windows + R keys on your keyboard to open the Run box. Type cmd and press Enter key to open Command Prompt.

2. When the Command Prompt window is launched, type the following command:-

wmic useraccount where name='Username' get sid

Replace 'Username' with your account user name. Press Enter key and you will see the SID name of your account. Note down your SID which we will use in the steps as shown below.

Important Registry Warning!

Before modifying computer registry, I will highly recommend you to take a back up of your registry or create a system restore point as this this will help you if something goes wrong. Also you will have to be careful while doing the modification in registry, wrong modification may cause booting issues.

Expand the ProfileList sub key, you will see your specific SID registry key. Locate the correct registry key for your profile which we have noted in Step 2 above.

Locate to ProfileImagePath in the right pane of the Registry Editor window. As you are facing this issue you can see in the data column of the above image that the string might be pointing to C:\Users\TEMP. Due to this you are getting a temporary profile error.

5. Double click on the same string to modify it's value. In the Edit String menu put the Value name as C:\Users\Username
